Epcon's Company History

Awarded its first pipe coating application for a major supplier of Drill Pipe. The engineering of the unique system earned Mr. Jamaluddin a patent on for drill and line pipe coating and another patent for pipe burn out ovens while saving on operating cost and cutting production time down from 24 to 4 hours. With the Oil Boom in full swing Epcon became an industry leader in the manufacturing of oilfield equipment.

Completes a comprehensive soil remediation project for over 3 acres of land for Los Angeles’ LAX airport expansion, with 100% success and 6 months ahead of schedule.

Moves into to its permanent location, 30 miles North of Houston, with a full engineering office and industrial manufacturing facility.

Delivers and installs the first international project for a large Petrochemical company’s new facility in Saudi Arabia.

Develops a specialized Aerospace Oven system with NASA, designed for curing the ceramic tiles used on the Space Shuttle.

Epcon engineers a major proprietary system comprised of over 11 oxidizer and oven systems for the Composite Materials Industry.

Reunites with NASA and the aerospace industry to develop a specialized system to process the durable, yet delicate gold foil used on the lunar module.

Awarded many project through the US Department of Defense for facility expansions and Industrial equipment production, including several naval and air force bases.

Teams up with the largest aircraft  manufacturer to design a high tech systems large enough to accommodate the multistage process of aircraft carrier parts.

Designs and builds the first unique oxidizer for the coffee roasting industry. This will be the first of many systems provided to roasting facilities around the world for odor mitigation.

Awarded its first large scale Oil & Gas project, comprised of over 11 specialty oxidizers for one of the largest US company’s overseas expansion in Indonesia.

Develops a one-of-a-kind Thermal De-oiler system for the largest Automobile Manufacturer in the US. The design was awarded 2 new patents in the AC/Evaporation technology sphere: one for metal parts degreaser with heat recovery and another for a Pyrocleaning furnace and air pollution control system as it completely eliminated waste water from the process, thus saving the customer operating costs, resources, and the environment!

Designs several projects for the Aluminum Industry, due to breakthroughs within our engineering and technology, paired with industry advancements.

Receives the stringent NQA-1 certification to service the highly specialized nuclear industry in the US.

Develops a mobile fleet of thermal oxidizers of various sizes and capacities. The trailer mounted design allows them to service customers during down times as well as temporary applications, such as soil remediation.

Epcon expands our on site manufacturing facility, totaling 250,000 sq feet.

Completed several successful system for the wood processing industry in Scandinavia that lead to a new patent for an innovative industry solution to eliminate VOCS, increase processing capacity and efficiencies.

Celebrating 40 year Anniversary of service and commitment to our customers.

Patents a metal pipe coating application, originally developed in the late 70’s and used by Epcon for the past 40 years, inorder to protect our technology and proprietary design internationally.

Innovates the Metal Finishing operations with a new patented design that utilizes primary, secondary and tertiary heat recovery methods that significantly reduced the RTO loading capacity

Classified as an Essential Business during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Epcon manages to keep safe operation on to continue to service and supply equipment to our customers.
