Pipe Coupling Thermal Cleaning and Coating Curing Oven and Method
This patent was developed for a pipe coating application. Our novel method for pipe coupling thermal cleaning and coating curing oven, increased production output and speed. As a leader in thermal cleaning application and optimal oven designs, this system innovates cleaning and curing processes.
Consisting of a pre-heat zone and a bake zone inside the oven, separated by a shared oven wall. A combustion burner and recirculation blower positioned in opposite ends of the oven in the pre-heat zone combustion/recirculation chamber, as well as another burner and recirculation blower pair positioned in opposite ends of the oven in a bake zone combustion/recirculation chamber.
Heated air supply plenums are fluidly connected to respective recirculation blowers and include direction-adjustable nozzles to direct heated air generally downward onto pipe couplings moving through the preheat and bake zones. Return air plenums are positioned in each of the pre-heat and bake zones, each zones equipped with an air inlet and an outlet, fluidly connected to respective combustion/recirculation chambers.
